MINI - 3-Door Hatch Price: from £16,195 OTR

Last Updated On: 14/02/2020

The MINI 3-Door Hatch was the first model to appear under the new MINI brand in 2001. Since then the Hatch, together with the other models in the ever-expanding MINI range, has enjoyed extraordinary sales success in the UK and around the world. Apart from enjoying a strong reputation for innovation, fun, frugal engines and superb build quality over the years, the entire MINI range also benefits from high residual values. The latest MINI Hatch is the third generation model.

Even though the third generation MINI 3-Door Hatch is instantly recognisable – something which comes from having such a globally identifiable design – the car is completely new from the ground up. Every component has been back to the drawing board in an effort to optimise its function, performance and style. It is more spacious than before, safer, finished to an even higher standard and provides the driver with a more dynamic and performance-oriented experience behind the wheel.

The result is a MINI which is distinctly familiar but enhanced in every single way. It features significant improvements in technology, engine efficiency and power delivery, driving dynamics, quality and – of course – personalisation. Inside, the new MINI 3-Door Hatch is quieter than the outgoing model, with improvements to acoustic refinement inside the cabin.

In early 2018, this MINI 3-Door Hatch underwent a facelift which included new technology, cutting-edge connectivity, standard-fit front and rear LED lights across the range and an advanced dual-clutch automatic gearbox. There was also a number of trim upgrades to the interior and exterior.

The latest MINI 3-Door Hatch is currently available in One, Cooper, Cooper S, and John Cooper Works (JCW) variants. See separate listing for JCW. All models are now powered by petrol only Twinpower Turbo engines . Power outputs range from 102hp (MINI ONE) right up to 192hp (MINI Cooper S) and comparative fuel consumption figures range from 47.9mpg (5.9L/100km) for the MINI One to 40.4mpg (7L/100km for the MINI Cooper S. Performance figures for the Cooper S are a 0-62 mph (100km/h) time of 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 145mph (246km/h). Diesel Power is no longer available for the MINI range.

There are three basic styles to choose from for the three models. MINI One is available in Classic style and the Cooper and Cooper S are available in either Classic, Sport or Exclusive styles. The customer can then go on the choose from a range of extras and from MINI's legendary options list.
