Check Out the NEW Aston Martin Valhalla! | FIRST LOOK

Published 15th July 2021. This is the new Aston Martin Valhalla, and a first look to check it out! Join me to take a full tour around the hybrid V8 supercar, fully updated from the original concept a few years prior, and now entering production in 2023. Let's go through all of the details! After launching as the AM-RB 003 concept, Valhalla sits in the line-up between the Valkyrie hypercar and future concept Vanquish sportscar, as part of a 3 tier mid-engine strategy. With Valkyrie on the bring of production commencing, Valhalla will start deliveries in Q4 2023 at a price of £600-700,000 with taxes. It's a series-production offering with no specific limited build number, and will be in production for two and a half years in total. For the production spec Valhalla, it mixes a flat plane crank 4.0l TT V8 with two electric motors for a total hybrid output of 950hp; with 750 coming from the combustion engine and 204hp from the electric motors. The numbers are impressive, as is the target Nurburgring Nordschleife lap time of 6:30. Although there's no interior to explore of this model, it will follow from the original concept with a seating position directly in the tub, with heels above hips to give a real racecar feeling. No doubt it will be a special car to drive! Thanks for watching, Tim

  • Published on 26 Feb 2017 Unfortunately I'm not able to re-record the audio for this review but thought I could add least do an edit with subtitles for anyone who found it hard to hear what I was saying. Apologies once again for that. No other changes to the video but some new content on the way shortly. Thanks for watching. Cheers! DrP

Lotus Exige V6 Cup - road car vs race car - autocar.co.uk
  • Lotus is on its way back, and the proof is the Lotus Exige V6 Cup - both in street trim, the Cup S, and the Cup R racer. Steve Sutcliffe puts them to the test. For most people, the standard Lotus Exige V6 would surely represent the ultimate kind of sports car. It weighs little more than a box of feathers, its interior is quite extraordinarily uncluttered by unnecessary luxuries, and its supercharged Toyota V6 engine provides it with enough grunt -- 345bhp -- to embarrass all but the most ambitious supercar drivers. Sutters travels to Lotus' test track in Hethel to drive the Exige V6 Cup S road car and the Exige V6 Cup R racer.

McLaren 570GT review: the most usable McLaren yet?
  • McLaren has come a long way over the past five years, and the 570GT is the culmination of its endeavours. And it is, without question, a huge achievement. But it’s also a different kind of sports car to the ones McLaren has made up until now. Why? Because the 570GT is an out-and-out road car – an automobile that’s been designed specifically to be used every day on regular roads by regular (and rather wealthy) drivers. Steve Sutcliffe gets behind the wheel of the brand new 570GT in Tenerife...
